When I was running a Volvo 265 I ended up in a caravan of 11 Volvos heading north on the A19 near Seaham one Sunday evening. Entirely impromptu.

Terrenure looked good Ste,

I was thinking of going down, but the good weather was keeping me home to do stuff. There is always next year.

Was a fantastic day alright , got sunburnt :)

Was a few cars missing that I'd seen there a couple of times before. Was hping thered be another one or two SM's and thought there might be a couple of Xm's.

Speaking of XM's, If the Safrane in Waterford is gone by the time my cousin gets back from his holiday I might try steer him to an XM. He's looking for something that he can use to go from Dublin to Sligo in and just use in the winter so he can part up the Elise in the cold wet months.

What constitutes a sensible offer in this case? http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2217782

I've never dealt with buying an XM before and I do have sinister motives for steering him in these directions. I plan to prise it from him in about a year :) I really want an XM next.

I was speaking to the seller of this car, he wants €2500 for it. Wanting and getting are 2 entirely different things though... It depends on how good it is, but you'd have to try and get a good grand off that price at least.

Have you seen the Red XM on done deal? Its more sensibly priced, and should be got for cheaper than what it is.

I have a similar-ish pictures, though nowhere near as good! In my defence my dad took it while I was driving.

ANOTHER Safrane spotted :D That's the yearly amount in three days. LOVE that red, and the lack of wing mirror cover, kind of adds to the character.

And those Mk 1 Twingos come in the most ridiculous, vile colours - whichs adds to their character

The DS3 shot in the wing mirror looks brilliant. It looks evil with those LEDs. I would happily buy one of those over ANY new Renault.

Followed a silver Xantia Estate into Stockton on the A66 yesterday and it was bouncing like it was a pogo stick. Very disconcerting!

DRL LEDs look bloody awful on all cars they're fited with and the DS3 is no exeption.

I consider the LED DRLs to be the most evil fitment to cars ever and the Audi ones are the worst.

It makes an already very aggressive car look even moreso.

I understand they're so bright and glaring so that they can be seen against the sun. No wonder they glare and dazzle.

I really do hope they're banned as soon as possible.

I have to agree. They scream 'look at me!!!'

Unfortunately I can't see them being banned anytime soon. European law, already has or will do so in the near future, stipulated that all new cars must be fitted with DRLs for 'safety'

I understand why bikers do it and that is fine, but there is no need to on a car. Not in this country anyway.
