Nice start to today :)

I travelled to Liverpool as usual in my 2010 plate GSF branded Citroen Nemo passing endless characterless cars until half way down the M62 Liverpool bound from Manchester i saw a familiar shape in the distance....as i got close enough it turned out as suspected to be a 2CV in two tone grey looking like it has been lowered a tad. It had a big whip ariel on the rear bumper and two yellow additional spot lights on the front. I slowed and gave a beep and then he pulled out behind me and flashed his lights...Two yellow headlamps and the two yellow spot lights.... then with a vive la france i was gone

I really appreciate seeing stuff like that on my way to work.....someone actually using an older car makes a refreshing change

Was at the local classic car auction at Anglia Car Auctions and there was a nice looking Samba there!

Only covered 11,000 miles from new and 2 owners with an MOT until June 2012.

Estimate was £800-£1200, but I don't think it sold.

It looks like it's been got at by Franklin already

A real time warp car that... Got to be worth the reserve...

Personally though, I'd have the Rover P6 even though it looks distinctly orange :D

...it was a lovely car with only a bit of lacquer peel appearing on the roof.

Shame it didn't sell though - nobody values them at all really...bit like the LN/A and Visas.

...sounds like the Visas a bit then - most are completely worthless except for some (Mille Pistes and Chronos) that command much bigger money.

I did see another white convertible 19 that was hugely modified with wheels and bodykit - but no camera at the time!
