Im after a Xant
Im going to eBay my ZX diesel off.
I was after a 1.9TD xant, but ive been to see a lovely 2.0 petrol dimension Xant (R plate) with only 48k and FCSH....... Im in a dilema
The Petrol Xant is cheap (£1100 with no trade in)
BUT, will it tow?
Ive not been able to try it as theres no tow bar, previously when i looked at a 1.8 everyone said go for the diesel.... does anyone have a 2.0 petro xant they use for towing? it needs to pull 1100kg effectivly up hill and down dale
Its a nice shade of red too............
decisions decisions....
Xantia Dilema - Which should i Buy?

My brother tows OK with a 2.0 Pug 405 and that's an auto. He has also towed with a 2.0 8valve XM (auto) but it struggled on long climbs and eventually blew the gearbox (I did warn him to get an oil cooler fitted).
But a diesel would be better.
