Polish Height Corrector Guide - Where is it?

Post by Rhothgar »

Hi

Can some clever bod direct me to the height corrector / suspension guide in polish?

I've exhausted my patience and the best part of 90 minutes searching, reading, delving and otherwise in Superstickies, Citroen, forum.

Just can't find it anywhere!

Help appreciated.

Not sure this is the one I saw before. Still scanning through though.

Thanks anyway Cloggz.

The link I was looking for was part of a thread on the forum and just had a link to Xantia Suspension Heights and was in black and white.

I'll keep searching through the link you sent though.

it's OK. I've found the information in there in Spanish.

Good job I only speak English!

If you have Gmail you should be able to download from this link:
https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid= ... x&hl=en_US

If you don’t have Gmail, you can book in on the spot:
http://mail.google.com/mail/signup

It’s a .pdf from Tramontana of Hungary in English that I can’t find on the net anymore.

Tramontana rings a bell!

That's for the investigative work.

Just setting up rear suspension at the moment. Had it running at 400 mm. from floor to underside of box section (that supports boot floor) behind the sphere.

I think it needs to be about 420 mm.

284 mm. to centreline of wheel measured from garage ramp to centre of wheel bearing cap + 136 mm.

Car was running about 440 mm. so I need to find the medium now and quickly adjust the front suspension too!

Tried downloading the document but it states I haven't got permission to view it!

Also, just adjusted the rear height up slightly to 415mm. and the front has dropped back down by itself.

I am assuming that this is normal behaviour for the suspension. If you heighten one end, the other lowers and vice versa.

Am I correct in this assumption?

Front is running at 160 mm. now from garage ramp to underside of front cross member.

All, by the way, on a 1.9TD SX Xantia S1 for the avoidance of doubt.

Don’t know if it’s normal for the front to drop when raising the back. :?
Maybe while it’s being adjusted but it should return to its place when settled.

EXCELLENT!

Looks like my calculations were just in tolerance. :)

Now I'll see if it has softened up the ride any. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for all your help, guys.
