SCENIC 1.9 DCI TURBO HAS BLEW ,WILL IT HAVE DAMAGED ENGINE??

Hi folks my scenic turbo has blown up and the engine has no oil due to turbo spurted it out,i am hoping its just the turbo that needs replaced

Depends how soon the engine was stopped - or how long the oil light if at all came on...

Doesnt sound good though, normally when DCi turbos go they fill the engine with oil and hydralock up...

Id be prepared for the worse :-(
