Another one bites the dust...

Just spotted on Ebay.

Condemned Activa

It never ceases to amaze me how people will break an otherwise perfectly good car for something that is totally repairable.

Just because of a duff pump, which it probably isn't  Unbelievable...

I'll wager there's a hole in the suction pipe letting in air and making the pump look duff...

Not sure if it is the same one but i have just been on pistonheads and seen someone breaking one on there. There is also a couple of other Activas on there if anybody is interested,a red one that i beleave was on ebay a while ago.

I can't understand why people buy Activas when they know nothing about basic xantias in the first place. If i thought about selling mine everytime it had a fault it would have sold it many times over.

Faults on mine at moment is probably more than the car is worth.
needs new:

1. new rear rose bushes.
2. new handbrake cables.
3. new front p-bushes.
4. new track rod ends.

And i have already put a new rad on it. And after all that it needs tracking and balancing and all that at a cost of nearly £100.

So ami mad or devoted to the cause. We will soon see when i get my garage finished, and can get to work on the Activa which my wife hates after only a year of ownership.

I tried to buy this one as a complete car last week...

The seller wouldn't budge on her £500 asking price as she "knew" she'd get that for it in bits.
