Ignition bits - Beru vs Bosch

Unread post by addo »

Comments, please.

I am apparently in need of a new control module for the 605 and Beru is about 20% cheaper - but, like Bosch, carries the auspices of a European managed company.

Anyone got stories either first or second person, to support one choice or the other?

Thanks, Adam.

The only thing I know of Beru Adam, is they make damm good glowplugs :D

Not a lot of help am I.

They're a good, respected company in Europe so you should be fine...

As Jim says they make good glow plugs!
I've not heard anything bad about them, so they must be good

Addo, Beru and Bosch are of comparable quality. Both are OE quality on ignition components. Ive sold bucket loads of both. Actually had more duff Bosch units than Beru TBH.

Id buy either...

Sorry Vince! Crosses to Bosch 0 227 100 124 to suit Peugeot 605 with PRV.

Never had the joy of Series 1 Xantia froglamps, but have to say Series 2 are nicely accessible.
