ZX - Headlamp problem

Sometimes when the headlamps are switched on, the r/h one is slow coming on, sometimes as slow as 10/15secs. Checked connections to lamp and bulb, all ok. Makes no difference from changing bulbs left to right, once they're on, no further problems. Could it be the resistor/relay system, but where are they to check them?

I too have noticed that when I put on the side lights (ZX TD) they come on slowly rather than sraight away. Checked connections and bulbs every thing OK. As they both work I ain't done any more pokeing around.

I wonder if this is related to the Dim-dip relay, which puts the dipped beam lights on at 1/6 th power when the sidelights & ignition are on, so that the car can not be driven with only sidelights on.
According to the haynes manual the relay is situated at the front left-hand corner of the vehicle above the horn assembly!
