As I was driving through Thornaby/Stockton today I was amased to see a silver/blue CX Safari parked by the side of the road. On a D plate, looked solid and original, think it might have had a silver bonnet.

I think I may have seen it at a CCC event a few years ago. Shame I didnt have my camera in the car today though.

Are they (Adult Warehouse) "breakers"?

Have you got a left leg to suit a 1964 model Brunette?
-Sure; there'll be a couple out the back, come and have a look.

Those rear Xantia lights are slowly colour coding to the car

104 is a rare spot, looks about rust free too.

While I was out in the Xantia today there was a chap in an X reg green Xantia following me, looked like a very tidy car.

And there was me just saying today that most of the old banger Xantias have gone and then you go and find one..

Mind you, that's a very late one...

Still looks like it's a bit of a banger though...

Definitely a banger! :)
From memory it was a 1.8 16v, and I think that the look sans wheeltrims give it the edge into the banger territory!

Today, I saw the old banger of a 1.6 Xantia that I thought had been long scrapped. It was seen by a family member a few months ago being propped up on the back wheel at the side of the road with a couple of tyres for a few days.

It is a ratty example, riding very low at the front and missing the entire back bumper along with other things!

Also running an errand in the XM today, someone came up to me asking about the 'spaceship' I was driving

Does a little, no doubt its bouncing along like a good'en on flat spheres too.

Saying that it might just want a good spruce up and a set of wheel trims ... plus the ride height sorting!

It is a late one though.
