Admittedly not a meet up but there's some interesting French Classics in there.

Here's some pics of the 205 GTi - for some reason I really liked this 205, even if it was only a 1.6 and not the 1.9.

I saw a couple of Citroen's there too, but I'll post them in the Spotted thread.

Was the black DS a genuine Pallas? It appears to be missing the stainless trims at the bottom of the doors and has the wrong wheel trims.

I prefer the look of the 1.6 205's more 'pure' so to speak.

AFAIK it was a genuine Pallas, although I don't know that much about DSs - not a huge fan.

I dont think the black DS is a pallas is it? The one in the first post is a brown DS pallas with a red interior?

Really rare to see a R4CV, I have never seen one in the metal as complete as that one is

...might be relevant that it was a South African built car and then lived in Kenya for most of it's life.

Certainly one of the most beautiful cars made. I used to see one all the time in the Makro car park and drool over it.

My niece used to swan around in one, not hers but a girl friend's. Interestingly one of the first cars with radar brakes.

Yes, very pretty cars from all angles, there are a few over here, all very clean and tidy.
Also like the Opel Gt and the Lancia Delta Integrale, wouldnt mind the XJS either........so many cars, so little...................

Certainly one of my favorite looking cars too.

The first time i remember seeing one was in the film 'death becomes her'

It looked great in maroon with those pop up headlights, quite menacing from the front.

Can't remembers it in the film but the Makro one was burgundy to. Gorgeous!

Passed a new C5 at a roundabout today. Thought it was a Passat until it followed me

Here we go Steve:

There used to be a vivid green coloured 8 series around here, had an awful body kit on it, looked awful! I very rarely see them now, they stand out when I do though.

Yes, the new C5s do have a bit of an identity problem going on, though maybe that was what Citroen was after ... I hope not.
