Hi, Thinking of buying one of these, what does the VTR bit mean, used to LX SX etc.

I've just bought one today in the estate form!
It is a similar spec to my Xantia SX although it has alloy wheels. I'm really impressed with the suspension and even though it is hugh it seems to go well. I decided on the 2.0 110 HDi as there seems to be a number of concerns with particulate fillters on the newer models.

Thanks for your reply Howie, so it is an SX with alloys well that will do me, the 1 I am looking at is an estate, I have a 2.2 auto and it drives very nice but is really bad on fuel so I am going for the 2.0 110, I will be keeping the 2.2 as well, there is more than 1 driver in my household.

VTR in the C5 is a good spec, 16" alloys, 4 electric windows, RCL, Auto wipers and lights, trip computer, dual zone climate control, front arm rests etc.

Infact, if your other C5 is not an Exclusive 'SE' then you wont really feel much in the way of a down grade, you might even like the seat material more!

110 2.0HDis are great! Very reliable and robust.

Edit: It also has an alarm, which the C5 SX doesnt have.

My other C5 is an Exclusive but not SE it does however have Leather seats Sat/Nav Telephone, shame about the fuel. Thanks for the full spec.

Ah I see, so almost SE spec then.

Cruise control is an easy addition and well worth it if you do a fair few motorway miles.
