ITs dam cold here in Durham and I have no heating in my 97 laguna , its freezing up in the inside as I drive along! BBBbrrrrrrrrr
So far I have flushed the heater matrix, get about 3/4 of flow through it so that should me enough to work, the heater matrix is not leaking, have used the bleed valve made sure there no air in it and cooland level all good. Both in and out pipes into the matrix at the bulkhead are getting warm, engine is running at normal temp, but still the hearter only blows cold! It has aircon as well dunno if that any bearing on it?
Any ideas at all are most welcome before i freeze in it!
Cheers guys

Educated guess but the heat to the car will be controlled by a series of flaps driven by small motors. Either the control for the motors has failed or the motors frozen up.
Do you get any airflow into the cabin?
If it is anything like mine, you can hear all the flaps close a couple of minutes after stopping the engine.

Probably in the worst place possible to access them but they will be behind/under the dash somewhere.trooper30 wrote:No problem with the air flow, blower works on all settings and selects all direstions no probs. Flaps? Any idea where i find them?
If you can find it then the control module is the most likely suspect. Mine died and it is under the trim just above the clutch. It is only a very slim chance that yours would be in the same position.
Not being a Renault owner I can't expand on this, you would really need drawings or advice from someone with first hand knowledge.
Due to the usual frantic Christmas goings-on the forum isn't likely to receive a great deal of attention for a while and this forum is fairly quiet at the best of times.
