some MOT !

The Xantia passed its MOT Saturday morning. Sunday afternoon giving the car its fortnightly fluid/tyre pressure/visual inspection check I noticed an impending disaster. Got a split in the sidewall of offside front tyre, on the outside, about 8cm in length running // to the rim. So deep I can see the internal structure of the tyre. Odly the tyre is not bulging and I could not feel it when driving.
words (and tyres) fail me !

Sods law says it was them getting it off their ramps! "It passed at the time of inspection, Guv'nor.."

Come to think of it when they did the front brake test the car jumped backward off the rollers, makes me wonder if the damage was done then as it did appear to be brutal.

That sounds like they weren't used to Citroen brakes to me!!! You could try taking it back and getting a new tyre out of them...
