Yes, the fluid AFTER the anti sink valve is returning to the tank.
Personally, I would not worry about it, as it can contribute to keeping the linkages under the car in working order.
As long as the ride is nice and soft, as a citroen ride should be, I personally leave it..

my hdi does this as well.
i'm not in the slightest bit bothered about it because as said it works the suspension which is an important thing to do on the anti-sink cars

IF and when you find an Early K and some L reg Xantias with the "Sinking" suspension, its rare the linkages play up on them...

And spheres last longer on them as they are not under constant pressure and their diaphragms rest against the sphere housings when sunk right down.citroenxm wrote:IF and when you find an Early K and some L reg Xantias with the "Sinking" suspension, its rare the linkages play up on them...
On the reason why an anti-sink sinks, it is as you say Richard and also flat rear corner spheres. Rear corners on a Hydractive car can rupture without you barely being aware. Bad spheres creep up on you.

I'm actually quite chuffed it does need a couple of minutes to wake up.. as the wife's MO,modus operandi?!! is - get in car - turn key - GO...
Now she has to wait, at least oil's pumping round the motor on these cold mornings, and at least 6" of view can be just about seen through the iced up screen * ....
* yes, daft aint it, I'm sick of telling her..she does well putting the lights on
