C5 2.0 running problem

Hi all,newbie here with a prob already...one of my regular cars i work on is a C5 2.0hdi vtr,its in good order and i keep it well serviced.we've got a cold start problem at the moment with it,the engine seams sluggish for about 5 mins then there is a noticable change and its back to warp 9!,i've done glow plugs,full service last week,changed the engine coolant sensor(on side of block)also replaced the mass airflow sensor cause it wasn't very well,when it was last pluged in i had the following codes-po401,po402 and pol00.also 2 others which related to maff and ect-the anti pollution warning was on the display but now gone since changing maff,anyone got any ideas??-am i missing something simple-relay/cold start injector?-and whats that sensor linked to top read hose,front right hand corner of radiator??-oh and only get power to glowplugs when cranking-i assume this is correct for this engine??.
