Accumulator sphere ?

Unread post by HDI »

Going to replace the accumulator sphere on my Xantia HDI, I'm presuming it's the one visible from above when looking directly down in the engine bay, the one to the left of the screw that relieves hydraulic pressure ?
Does anyone know the OEM part number so I can ensure my factor gets it right ?!
Now using '00 Xantia LX HDI, pov spec :(
My past Citroens :-
'00 Xantia SX HDI, now dead due to accident :(
'99 Xantia HDI 110 Exclusive, RIP :(
'97 Xantia TD SX
'96 Xantia TD LX
'96 ZX TD
'89 BX TD
'88 AX GT
'79 CX2400 Pallas (scrapped :( )
& a couple of Peugeots !

Yes, that's the one!!

The most important thing is that it's an accumulator-type sphere (i.e. no damping as in a corner suspension sphere) with a 400cc capacity and pressurised to 62 bar..

According to GSF's old sphere application table you need a Citroen p/n 95 666 763 or equivalent. Citroen p/n 95 437 354 can also be used.
