Whatever. I reckon the one pictured is sturdier than some strut tops I have.

They ought to be put on display in a Hammer House Museum of Citroen Horrors!
Can go with my Cx snapped head bolt, bottom engine mounting bolt and the
bent lower wishbone pivot bolt that needed hand cutting out of the subframe...

Well, isn't that because you've all got massive signatures? :)

It'd only cause problems by doubling the length of pages on all the threads
I've previously posted in!

Wow, check out the length of that signature... ;)

Forgot to mention my Douvrin Cx 2.0 motor that snapped a valve stem
that then got sent through the cylinder head by the upstoke of the piston
on start up wedging the engine solid. That took some interesting fact
finding.

I reckon a 'Black Museum' of Citroen failures could have a chilling 'attraction'
to fellow citroen addicts actually. Could even have the Crimewatch caveat that
these are but isolated cases so don't have sleepless nights. ;)

Mind, the failed strut tops should give sleepless nights?

Couldn't have been a Prestige or a Turbo petrol then or you'd have had to succumb!
Go on then, elaborate or just leave me hanging here Dean!!!!!!

Probably held 'captive' on the IoW too?

I would certainly advise that you DO find out more. You owe it to yourself
as these opportunities rarely present themseves when you are actually
actively looking for them. The re-pipe is doable in a day and more satisfying
than messing about with more modern machinery IMH(bised)O! Try driving
one and then say, it's a s1 with the best looks...

:help2: ADMINS!!!!!! Andrew is doing it again :help2:

I cant Anyway, i asked the mot man to let the xm through promising i would weld the rust hole in the wheel arch and he did but all ive done is clean it up and paint it to stop it getting worse, then of course i took the activa's pressure reg off last weekend and filed down one penny washer to make a shim and i have not had time to finnish that, if i get another bloody citroen they will all end up laid out on the drive like some sort of elephants graveyard
