Sounds like leather might just work for me then.... :D

I do actually have a long leather coat, problem is it makes me look like Herr Flick (after he's let himself go a bit)

They don't shiver when my wife cooks em...........she kills them twice
I nearly killed myself twice on Saturday, cooking cows.
Was making Boeuf Bourguignon*, put the top oven on to warm while preparing the bits, lit the gas for the frying pan and the explosion was astounding :)

The top oven doesn't autolight and the accumulated gas blew the door open, washed me nicely with a huge gout of flame that fortunately left my eyebrows intact as I was wearing glasses.

*French, see :)

A real Frank Spencer moment. :?

The Boeuf Bourguignon turned out well though

Ahh, so that's why they always go on about red meat being bad for your health...

It all makes sense now

It's known as thread slippage Lexi. This forum, as you know, is famous for it and personally I love to see just how far off-topic a thread can roam. May it roam far and wide :D This one has started well.. Where will it end I wonder?

Just like everyone else

I read the other day about us public sector geezas having 750,000 jobs cut. I thought  Not again, I've already bared the brunt of the previous 700,000 cut and I was only saved by the skin of my teeth by having my hours cut. Turns out they were talking about the same cuts, phew!!
Talk about twisting the truth, got me quite tense

I think a leather jacket and a pair of sunglasses would suit you Xac! Make sure the jacket has those frilly bits on the arms, its proper cool 8-)

Tassels Kev, not "frilly bits" and yes, when I was a long haired biker, I had such a jacket.
