Citroen Xantia Blower fan

my citroen Xantia (m reg) has no air con, the blower fan works but no air is coming through the vents. Anyone able to help? have tried replacing the fan itself

has someone fitted a fan from a peugeot 406, as they spin the oposite direction, they do have directional arrows on the fan nose cone

no im sure, i replaced the old one, as it was doing the same thing, now discovered there is nothing wrong with the fan itself, just no air being pushed through the vents. its cold and the car keeps misting up, thought that replacing it would be the answer.....

Blocked pollen filter perhaps?
It's the long rectangular panel next to the fan (towards the centre console), about 2 inches wide.
Pop it off by sliding it lengthways, but I can't remember which direction.
Make a note of the way round the old filter is fitted.

I'd go with blocked pollen filter - the cover is probably screwed on on an M Reg car....

it dosent have one... well its not meant to have one according to the book as it dosent have air con
