it was churchill i got a 10% discount because thats who my f-i-l is with and i put him on as anamed driver and it took it down considerably

Another option perhaps for next year and depending on your driving habbits is one my partner has just brought up (she works in insurance).
Aviva and a few others will fit a box to your car, you agree what time periods you're likely to use the car the most, and if you use it outside that you get charged on a per mile/minute, but it can seriously cut premiums as you're agreeing not to drive during peak accident periods.

im not sure if that would be any good to me as i do quite a few miles
e.g bought the car in may with 61966 and now on 74500ish but i am mostly out evening aswell i dont know if that would make it less with there being less on the road
