I Want That One!!!

Post by brmartyn »

I've seen this stunning Peugeot 406 Coupe 2.2 HDI SE with all the kit and full Pug service history (check out the interior  ). I really like this one and I also think it's a really good price.

What's everybody's opinion on it?

I've always been a fan of the 406 coupe styling, very sleek, nice colour too.

Would personally prefer a V6 coupe

However I can see that car being a good blend of stylish performance with added benefit of diesel economy. 0-60 in 10.9 is not bad at all, its no sports car, but still would be fun.

I've no idea on price, never look at buying cars that new cant afford them, but that dosent sound to steep to me for what your getting.

nearly the same colour as mine and Toby's V6's :D think blue suits them well.. like the tan interior.. 75 miles, barley run in! think the price is ok for an Hdi, and if you mess around with it a bit it will give the V6 a good run and you wont stop as often to fill up

nice...

I say it all the time I know and I'll say it again...

Possibly one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

I adore anything designed by Pininfarina :D

Blue is a great colour for them and so is red.

Shame that one does not have the V6...

And shame it did not become what it was intended to be originally - the Citroen Activa

Looks a good price for a diesel with that mileage. Not only that but if it is up for that price, you could knock £200 odd off easily, maybe more. The diesels hold their value well. Not only that but they can easily be remapped to 180bhp (the figure that sticks in my head) and be reprogrammed to ignore the FAP quite easily.

Aegean blue is the later blue from 2002. Mine and John's are Polaris but even then they are slightly different shades. As said, shame its not a V6 but then I'm biased :D.

Plenty of information about on them and most the stuff that goes wrong is easily fixed. Just make sure you check it out as you would any other car really. If you want any more info let me know

If you get it I'll swap you my black leather for the tan

I've really got my heart set on owning one of these, Unfortunately this one has come just 3 - 4 months too early as I'm not planning on changing my Xantia until the beginning of 2011

It seems im a little late to this thread, as the advert has now gone. However i agree about the coupes styling and the 2.2HDi will make it a great everyday cruiser with to potential for more power and good economy. Probably the engine id go for if i was to get one.

I agree with the comments on the 406 coupe, and Pininfarina design(s).

Regarding the Activa the people responsible should have gone to Le Specsavers oui!

As they were certainly shortsited at the time!
