2003 Xsara Picasso HDi - Doors Creaking Over Bumps?

Hi,

I've just purchased a 2003 Xsara Picasso, great condition with Full history. However there is an annoying problem in that the doors seem to creak from the top when going over bumps etc? I have a 2005 Picasso and it doesn't do this? Any thoughts as it's driving me nuts!

Try spraying around the door rubbers with WD40 or similar, rub them with a rag until they are clean and lubricated. Often therubber dries and makes a creaking noise.

The noise will be due to the door frame moving against rubber seal, I solved it on SWMBO's Picasso by giving the door seals a smear of rubber lubricant (no comments please

)

Yeah thanks folks, i rubbed some grease on them and it's been silent for two weeks now. Got another problem though, the lumber adjustment doesn't work, i imagine it's not fixable but hey ho?
