DS23 EFi Pallas. Only 46,000 miles. Amazing!!!

Post by Citroening »

I've yet to see the car, but a friend has got a DS23 EFi Pallas coming into his Classic Car Auction on the 9th October, at Anglia Car Auctions (where Top Gear and the Ami was)

It's only done 46,000 miles with 15 stamps of main dealer service history and it has either been owned by it's supplying dealer (3 times) or D enthusiasts.

It has never, ever been welded or fully restored, and approximately 6 years ago it was subject to a bare metal respray in the original colour of Delta Blue and retrimmed in black leather.

Since that time it has never seen rain and described as exemplary.

It was valued by the CCC, 3 years ago for £25,000.

Estimate of £19000-£25000

I'm going to be seeing the D soon and getting some more pictures, but here's some in the meantime...

Nah, it's worthless, not even worthy of consideration. It's lacking the most essential part of a DS, the BVH semi-auto gearbox...

I jest, it's absolutely gorgeous.... I guess a BVH could be fitted...

I thought at first it was the brown one that was at the DSM this year with about the same genuine mileage and in about the same sort of nick..

Be interesting to see what it goes for. In that condition it is in I would have thought £25K to be a bit on the low side given that Len Drew's is, I understand, valued in the £40K region..

Lens' is the incredible white one you see at shows and is better than new...

Come over here for a holiday; I'll send you off with the shed keys and you can tinker with my first front Dee. You can even sleep out in the shack with brown snakes and mice for company...

You'll snag a rough DSpécial or DSuper here for less than £600.

However, by the time you get to Pallas spec, or ie motors, or BVH, or pushbutton door handles - it's going to be lots more for a car worth having.

Ooh! :luv: That brings back memories. I've owned 3 DS's over the years. None as pretty as that one though. If you want to experience the REAL "floating on air" sensation, then at sometime in your life you will HAVE to drive a DS. There is absolutely nothing else like it apart from maybe a GS.
