A) the Citroen dealer
B) a scrapyard

It seems quite rare for these to fail, unless damaged during dissaembly.

Whats wrong with yours?

Is this specifically the joint at the sphere, the sphere itself or the ally ram as
these can all manifest failures that have the same end effect of LHM under
high pressure all about the place!?

Some rams do break up and fail losing pressure as the integrity of the flange
to the sphere can corrode away. As Malcolm states, test for the easy to get
and replace bits first before getting more bogged down and involved in a
potentially unnecessary major rebuild.

The rear cylinders leak intentionally for lubrication purposes and have hefty leakage return pipes on them for this purpose. Check the leakage returns are in place. There are two. one is a black pipe that's just an air inlet and a clear one that is the return line proper.

If the gaiter is split then there will be considerable leakage evident on an otherwise good cylinder. I assume gaiters an be replaced?

If someone in the past has tried to remove spheres using the wrong method, the HP supply pipe can fracture and lead to leaks.
