405 Mk1 and Mk2 Subframe Differences
I've picked up a very cheap brand new subframe for a Mk1 diesel 405. Without having my old one off to compare, it looks pretty well the same as my Mk2. Does anyone know if it would fit? I'm thinking at the very least I'd have trouble fitting a Mk2 steering rack to a Mk1 subframe?

Took a look in the Haynes, and on Servicebox....
It's curious, it seems the Mk1 can have either M12 or M14 bolts. Haynes makes no mention of Mk1 or Mk2 subframes, but mentiones that the cage nuts on the chassis might have to be changed to a different size if changing bolt size. I wonder if that means it might be possible to fit this one I have......hmmmm.
