Berlingo anti roll bar bushes

Unread post by daveyhairbear »

What's the easiest way to replace the anti roll bar bushes on a berlingo?

I have a knocking sound from the passenger side of the car, thinking it was the droplink (A common problem) I replaced it but the knocking persists. D'Oh!

Next weekend I'll replace the driver side droplink (I bought a pair) but would a work droplink cause a knocking on the opposite side of the car when vigorously rocked?

I'm starting to think one of the anti-roll bar bushes has gone. Any easy way to diagnose? Can they be replaced without too much faff?

Now you come to mention it, it could be the lower joint.

What's the swiftest way to check these?

jack one cornner up at a time by the sub frame and so the jack dose not foul the susp arm, whilst an acomplise levers under the wheel and you whatch/feel the joint for movement,
