Stealer price rise.

I've just been informed, Citroen dealer parts prices are rising by 2% next week so get your orders in quick!

Not to mention the 2.5% vat hike on Jan 4th :roll: .

Slightly off topic (and on topic) , has anyone noticed price rises for very old parts ?

Can't be sure why unless its to encourage scrappage maybe ? , as there's no real requirement to continue to make old parts (they could just say NLA) :?:

Oh yeah; they love sticking it to the faithful. Seems a poor philosophy to me!

Yes, noticed old parts going up.
All the parts were made at the time of manufacture of the car.
Citroën is an old hand at scrapping.
They bought back all the SM’s they could, and sent them to the crusher.

Whhich is why the prices go up. It's the same in most industries - storage and maintenance of an inventory costs money, which has to come from somewhere...
