Yes, for warante purposes,but they will and do run on 100% bio (B100) with out any problems as long as it's well made bio.
you shouldn't try to run an HDI on bio that hasn't passed the tests for convertion and soaps.

So.. Is it OK to run a 2.1TD on Bio??

I ran my 2.0 HDi on Bio for over six months until the supply dried up, no ill effects, indistinguishable from ordinary diesel.
