Berlingo gear box / mpg

Dont no whats up with it but the gear box makes a noise as if something is rubbing.
ive had the van 6 months now and it has done it all the time.

and dose any one know what mpg i should be getting its on a R plate 1.9D

Have you checked/changed the oil in the gear box?

MPg should be around 40-45 i would think. What are you getting?

no ive not done that cant find the drain plug

getting about 35mpg
