Fancy a big challenge rescuing a crippled Activa v6?

Unread post by andmcit »

Yes, a s2 v6 Activa and it's even got a sunroof!!

There's a couple of slight problems. First it's in Germany!
Located just outside Dresden.

Second it's had an underbonnet fire which has buggered up
the wiring and now it won't run (I know the feeling the
seller has myself only too well) ...so it's a bit of a challenge...

so one for you then Jim?

My iPhone app iTranslate (corny I know!) has done a tidy job of making
sense of the auction - far better than any of the regular web bookmarked
ones I tried first!

Anyhow:
Hi I auctioneer here my Citroen Xantia V6 ACTIVA! very rare.
With manual transmission, tinted windows, tow bar, rain sensor,
new windshield (thermal glass), ...

Unfortunately, my car was the victim of a fire. However, I could
immediately delete so that only a small portion is fused in
Mototrraum. Just as eg water box cover, spray wall insulation,
.. and a few cable insulation. also on the hood has been due to the
heat of einwenig Läck discolored but only slightly. or he is OK as far
as transmission and engine are still ok. seats are missing.

But since it had melted through the cable and remove a few cables
and connectors have contact problems, he does not jump at the
moment.

For the dressing, he is good and the chassis ACTIVA works properly
is really crazy horny!

Well, the connoisseurs amongst you will appreciate the vehicle.

Have fun bidding

ps. This is a private auction - exchange and warranty and withdrawal
are excluded.

For questions: 01520-7366440
Elsewhere, the crazy horny worked out as a more meaningful
"ACTIVA load work is functioned also flawless real crazy lecherous!"

with kinda makes sense!!

I really fancy a V6 Activa but it'd have to be a right hooker which sort of means I can only build a custom one.

One thats suffered an under bonnet fire could be a right nightmare I guess.

Ha Ha  Not at this time Andrew. I have quite enough on my plate and the scars from my last Activa project are still healing

That is too much for me...

And quite right David, an engine fire can be a nightmare and dangerous too. Synthetic rubber may beak down into hydroflouric acid in a fire and that is the most evil stuff on the planet; the reason why burned cars are normally Cat-A writeoffs in this country and quickly crushed.

Unfortunately it is about as far from the UK as you can get while still being in Germany, so transport logistics/costs would be significant.

I think I would rather take may chances with this one, which is (relatively) cheap because it is in France on German plates, and has (depending on translation) "little concern for water bottle trying to come on board" or "a small concern for bottle d' water has to come seeks on plate" :?:

Ohh, that's nice and a MK1 as well.. :P :P :P

So, it's leaking then? Presumably the header tank has bid a fond farewell?

This one would appear to be worth savingif the 60,000km is correct, and only in Paris.

Ummm..

The very brief description is as follows:
I am selling the car because I can not redo the gray card, then if not for parts or 1000th in the state.
Good general
I guess he cannot do something it needs to gain a new CT (French MOT - Grey card?) so offers for spares. Goodness only knows what the 1000th in the state is all about but he clearly knows a good general...

Mike, it's worth a sniff....

the 1000th i think refers to the fact that if he doesn't get 1000Euro for it then he is going to break it instead :(

1000euro is not bad thought even with recovery costs if you have the money... Good donor for someone doing the conversion. could tow it back with an XM or xantia estate and towing dolly :)

The carte Grise is the V5, I can't remember the ins and outs of it now, but to sell a car in France it must have at least 6 months MOT remaining on it, or something like that.
