diagnostic plug on a c4

hi every one sorry for the bother dose any body no were the diagnstic plug is on the citroen c4 16 2005 hdi please i have some faults on the car and dont want to pay out £100 if i can help it as i have the leads and soft ware to do the job but cant seem to find it cheers and thanks for any info for any help

I think I read somewhere it is under or behind the ashtray. Not sure at all but it's worth a look.

I don't know either but what I do know is it has to be within reach of the driver.

Correct :)

With the ashtray lid closed gently puch the tab/lip of the ashtray towards the front of the car, you should feel a springy sort of resistance, the whole unit then lifts out revealing the plug below.
Music keeps me going.
