sticking headlamp lenses

Post by scratcher »

Hi, a good mastic / adhesive for sticking a lens of my GSA headlight to the reflector part. The original 'gunge' was quite thick. I don't want the lens falling out as they are hard to replace. They are supposed to be permantely bonded. I am close to getting this car on the road. Have had two before one for 11 years, one for for10 years. Gerry

I used a clear high modulus glazing silicone sealer - IIRC it was "Evode"* on my Volvo, never had any problems afterward.

Stuck the new windscreen in with the same stuff but black.

*they make Evo-Stick
