It is a very simple job, just read up on the link provided, the only real difficult bit is getting the spheres off in the first place as they can take a bit of strength.

When I replaced them (especially the fronts) I just couldnt believe how easy it is to do, you pretty much unscrew them, put a bit of LHM round the new seals and then screw the new ones in.

When I did the fronts, it literally took less than 10 mins. Now thats good design :D

Changing the rears is not too technical, they are just realy tight.

I dont know how much you have been quoted in garage prices but it should not realy be too much, we are charging £26 per sphere inclusive of fitting to your car at the moment.

Regards
Martin.

and Martin at Pleiades REALLY knows what he's doing, whereas the bloke at your local garage (even a Citroen stealer) may well not.

£26 fitted is about £1 a sphere more than GSF charge (without carriage) just for the parts!

You don't want to know how many limbs Citroen want for spheres!

As soon as you can afford it, the 'Anti-Sink' sphere will probably need replacing.

I wouldn't say you were robbed €130 for 4, over the water £26 for 1, that would be £104 for 4, at the present exchange rate you probably paid as much as €10 more. also bear in mind parts are always more expensive in ireland. i'd say you got a bargain

Where are you Lakewolf? I've got the proper Pleiades sphere removal tool, takes about half an hour to do (did on mine anyway), if you're close can do it for you
