Unread post by little.tubs »

Hi all,
Could anybody tell me if injectors out of a 110BHP picasso will fit in my 90BHP picasso, or do i have to use injectors out of a 90 BHP engine, one last question would hdi injectors out of a peugeot 306 or 406 fit also.
Many thanks for reading this post.
Regards

Picasso only had 110 BHP in 1.6 HDI guise, so I doubt the injectors will be suitable for a 2.0 90. Any from a 90 BHP HDi (Citroen or Pug) with the right injection system (Bosch or Siemens) should be OK, but fitting SH ones seems like a bit of a risk you will not solve the problem

The difference between a 110bhp & 90bhp Xantia, is mainly achieved by intercooling, and also turbocharging, although when you cool the air down to achieve a better more denser intake on the induction stroke, then there will be possibly a need to inject more fuel, and have different settings, I.E. break off pressure etc compared to a non intercooled engine therefore they could be different.

So the Picasso could be possibly similar in that respect.
