knock knock, who's there? it's my Xantia

Hi Guys,
I have a Xantia 1.9td 1994
I can drive up to about 3 mph and then from the front near side wheel comes a knock knock knock, I have jacked the car up and felt for wheel bearings being worn but as of yet nothing ? any suggestions?

Have you checked if handbrake cable doesn't hit your rim? Or something like that

If its a regular knock could be the CV joint.

Yeah try it on full lock...it should be worse. Are you riding at proper height settings?. They can sound strange if not although it sounds more drastic than this.
