Have GSF stopped selling batteries?

Unread post by DickieG »

My Mum phoned me today stating that the battery on her Golf was flat, as the car is five years old it presumably needs replacing so I looked on GSF's website for prices but can't see any mention of a car battery anywhere. Is it merely that GSF won't post them or have they stopped selling them?

I think they have stopped selling them as they can't compete on price. I have had a few from TAYNA batteries, check on Google, there prices seem good.

What do you mean GSF have stopped selling batteries :) No they havent....more likely a problem with the website  I will mail it through to head office.

GSF sell Banner batteries = 3yr warranty
GSF own branded batteries (made by banner for GSF) = 2yr warranty
Bosch batteries = between 3 and 4 yr warranties

Price wise, for the quality of product prices are competitive, Banner are OE fit on many vehicles including some of the new BMW's and Volkswagen models

Perhaps Peter but i can categorically say that no directive has ever been issued not to sell batteries
