There's quite a few near that power on pug306.net

The 306 HDi never came with an intercooler, so was always a HDi 90. Putting a front mount intercooler on it and a beefed up clutch meant you could get it remapped (by a bloke on the forum near leeds) up to 150-160 hp for something like £120 (or there abouts). I don't think he does work on the HDi 110 as of yet, but maybe one day?

DONT bother with hundreds on a Chip that you Cannot change back when the time comes to get rid..

My friend has a 110bhp Xantia HDi, and I bought a tuning BOX that plugged in, and the in gear accelleration is astonishing!!

The difference is amazing! Whats more, then, when the time comes to sell, the box can be removed and put on the next HDi she may get!

When you've had a remap, you cant really, and your next potential purchaser may be put off by that.. Personal opionion of course, but this makes the best world to me...

the 110 HDi is supposed to perform very well after a remap. Though it depends what kind of remap (generic or custom) and where its done too.

I bought the interface to do the remap from Ebay, about £40. Then using this downloaded the existing map and emailed it off to be tweaked. Once it was emailed back I downloaded it back to the C5. The tuner reckons about 135 to 140 bhp, it certainly felt like it. It smoked no more than before (ie. not noticeably) and passed it emissions test with a single shot fast pass.

I was so impressed that I got the same chap to tweak the file on the A170CDi I've now got. That goes even better than the C5, I guess it's lighter. Both these maps cost just 100 Euros.

I fitted a tuning box to a Xantia HDi110 I had, I didn't rate it much, maybe it was faulty or just junk.

Thanks for the offer but no. If it goes wrong you end up with an expensive repair job on your hands as lots of dabblers have found and one or two pros too. I know of a guy that bricked a new A8, it had to goto the dealers to be fixed. So although I'll risk my own car I won't touch others.

Sorry.
