please help i had the timing belt changed on my 206 its a 04 33000miles 1.1 its hardly ever used and now my car has started to leak oil and the garage said its the head gasket, did the garage cause this problem when they did my timing belt

No, the garage is unlikely to have caused the problem.
An oil leak from the head joint on the TU engine family (of which your 1.1 is a member) is unfortunately very common indeed and it does not seem to be mileage based.
It is not a showstopper unless really bad but it does make everything very messy.
One good thing is that head gaskets are easy (relatively) to do on this engine, especially if it is the 8 valve head, so the cost of rectification should not break the bank.
Worth doing too. I rate the 206 as one of the best small cars there is and they hold their value well. My daughter has a 206 and she loves it to bits
