Ha , if they think thats difficult they should try the rear plugs of a Porsche 911 !!
Now using '00 Xantia LX HDI, pov spec :(
My past Citroens :-
'00 Xantia SX HDI, now dead due to accident :(
'99 Xantia HDI 110 Exclusive, RIP :(
'97 Xantia TD SX
'96 Xantia TD LX
'96 ZX TD
'89 BX TD
'88 AX GT
'79 CX2400 Pallas (scrapped :( )
& a couple of Peugeots !

I understand that on a Smart car the engine needs to be removed to replace the plugs, not all that uncommon on modern cars with plugs lasting 60k miles.

We won't mention replacing the transmission filter on a Xantia V6 auto :wink:

There are always a couple of difficult bits but spark plugs, filters and light bulbs should never be a two hour or more job.

I heard (unable to verify) if you need to replace a front spring, its also a major undertaking needing wing removal and a few other bits and pieces etc

Lots of places bodge the smart job by only doing the most accessible 3 plugs and leaveing the rear 3 and crossing their fingers....

Bit like the issue with the difficult to replace glow plug hidden behind the injector pump on 1.9 Diesels !!
