Ixtar G-3 Glasscoat

I have just paid the deposit on a new Scenic Privilege. I now have about 6 weeks to wait until it arrives (!).
Meanwhile I am trying to decide whether to have the new beastie treated with Ixtar Glasscoat. It costs about £300 and lasts for 5 years.
I'm disabled, so spending my life polishing the thing is not really an option.

Has anyone had it done, how does it look now, any comments?

(Note only Ixtar Glasscoat as supplied by Renault, NOT any other 'protective' products.)

We had it done on our C8, The interior protection is ok, the outside didnt do so well, water beading started to drop at about 6 months, its now just 3 years old and the protection doesnt seem to be there.

The best thing is save your dosh and give it a coat of really good wax twice a year, collinite 476 is superb and is what I use, isnt hard to buff off and lasts for ages.
