A thought:
Given the high cost of these DM flywheels, and I see other manufacturers are using them too as well
Is it possible to use a standard flywheel in its place if the need arises ?
TBH, It seems there's a 60/40 chance on a new flywheel being needed with a new clutch and its not cheap
XUD11 flywheel maybe to replace DW10 ? , just a thought, no idea if its actually possible.
I do not think myself the benefits of a DM flywheel outweigh the cost. Think how rare was it to change a flywheel (ring gear excepted) before the introduction of the DM ?
Just my random thoughts, nothing more.

There was a post back in December on this subject:
"Valeo .... are now supplying a DMF conversion. This kit is a complete clutch kit as per normal but has the benefit of also including a new flywheel, the flywheel is built to do away with the the "orrible" dual mass flywheel and the unreliability that comes with it, all of the dual mass benefits are still there as they are in the clutch itself, so next time it goes, the flywheel stays put and it's just a clutch change."
The topic referred to the 2.0 HDi (PSA) engine, but if Valeo have really cracked the problem, perhaps there are similar kits for other PSA/Ford engines? Has to be cheaper than 'genuine' flywheel and clutch; otherwise who would buy the Valeo kit. I imagine that use would invalidate a warranty, but for older vehicles that's an irrelevance.
