No, that's a door-side badge reproduction I believe.

This is the one you are after and they're like hen's teeth...

Only fitted to a few early examples and never on a MKII. Xantiaman's was originally on a MK1.

Those badges are as rare as a rare thing. Almost worth buying a scruffy early one for the badge if it has one...

It seems to be the right rear one albeit not without the 2-3mm deep
and surround chromed effect baseplate. There is a side door version
in white and black in a smaller size too. That all said, the larger rear
one looks OK on the car without the baseplate though and at least
says what the car deservedly is where Citroen forgot!!

I'm about to try a repro rear badge on a recycled ZX Elation badge
baseplate and will post piccies if it all works out!

No, you misunderstand me Andrew. I meant to buy an early one with a badge as an ideal restoration project.... :)

Hi Arkweld;

with one of your pictures in that stream captioned 'trimmed decal edge'
if I used one of the ebay new replacements is a trim down necessary with
all Dimension/Elation/Memphis base plate badges? I haven't got there yet
with the Elation one I plan to do. Are the radii the same between the
replacement Activa inserts too?

Not quite , this is probably the "craftiest part , being a nano mill over-size the edge needs a fine trim to fit , best make a template with the removed piece till it'll drop in ' then remove backing tape ' as you rarely get a second attempt once set in place.. Yes all rear plates require trim down inc.Stateside

I was quite tempted to get the silver version of the badge, as the Activas wear silver door badges but a black boot one :?

I think the black boot one goes well on a silver car, the back end is silver and black after all, got mine off ebay last year.

Thanks for that Dean :)

I did go with the black badge to keep it as standard, also got an Elation badge to to do above.

I quite like what you have done with your badges there Dean, getting rid of any notion of it being a Xantia hey! I did think about doing that, but decided to stick with the original format.

Does anyone have a picture of an Activa wearing a boot badge from the straight ahead view? Id like to get an idea of where to fit it, I assume it just goes in the centre of the gap, both left/right and up/down?

Thanks Franklin :)

Interesting that yours has a boot badge on an R-reg, I thought it was only on earlier cars?
