No Lights. Xantia 2.0 HDi

Post by jcdel »

Got in the car to return home and zap! no lights. ie. sidelights, headlights and dash. Also heated rear window warning light kaput.Stop lights and all other ancillaries work so it appears to be all on the left hand stalk.Got the Haynes out and to be honest not a lot of help other than loadsa wiring diagrams.I haven't got the handbook so no definites on which fuse or relay to look at.Is there a common fault for this problem or is it normal run of the mill diagnostics from scratch.Once again any help appreciated from the best forum ever!

In The car fuse box
F4 sidelights
F9 sidelights
F19 instrument cluster lights

Under the bonnet
F12,F13,F14,F15 Headlights

No clue in the handbook as to what all the high amperage fuses in A to H in the fuse box under the bonnet feed. I suspect its a main feed failure given what has stopped working so I would start looking at the High Amp Fuses. Note in Hnadbook. "If there is a problem with the high amperage fuses A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H contact the nearest CITROEN dealer".
