I swopped the wheels, complete interior, including all the seats and steering wheel, plus front brakes, from a 5 door Volcane over to a 5 door Avantage, so as long as its the 1.9 TD I think it is probably interchangeable.. I can't be sure even tho I had a good look at the engine coz mine is non tubo, so they dont look the same... [:I] And I was informed that I couldn't swop motors because the TD would prob knacker my auto gearbox... [:(] But I WASN'T told it wouldn't fit! [:)]

Yes Danny
The ZX Volcane TD uses exactly the same engine as the other ZX TD's, the XUD9TE engine which gives 92BHP (no cat).
People with Volcane's just think they're faster!!

I dont think the power would harm the autobox, Citroen hang more powerful petrol engines onto them after all.

Its not the power you have to worry about with a petrol model gearbox, its the torque that the turbo diesels produce over the rev range compared to petrols. The diesel gearboxs are a heavier build.
