Classic Insurance

Unread post by wainy »

Hi,

My Activa is off the road at the moment and I'm missing it!! There's nowt major wrong with it and it still has MOT. Ideally I'd put it on the road alongside my TD Estate but money is tight :( .

Was wondering if anyone has one insured on a classic/limited miles policy and if so, how much they've paid and with which company.

Thanks!

Hullo Wainy, as far as I am aware, you wont get this car insured as a classic as it is too new.

I do not think the insurance group is greater than 19, so it is not prohibitive. If you were over fifty, you can get cheaper insurance as an old git! :o

Indeed, too young. I've tried this route :D

Give Admiral a call. They may be able to do something good with their multi-car policy. I insure mine with them on that basis and the second car may have a restricted mileage policy.

Juliet's on Admiral while Cassy's with them under the Elephant brand.
Both around the £300-350 mark if memory serves.
Must find my policies actually and see when they're due so I can check out Admiral's multi car now I'm sure I'm keeping Juliet :D
