I've lost the "filtering" ability on the Cit version.

Both I am signed up as an indy in Australia, no SIRET given.

Anyone else lost the ability to filter on a non-subscription version? I was actually wanting to know just how many lights there are in the instrument panel, as it needs removing to fix the jammed tacho needle, and some of the bulbs are blown.

Don’t know anything about filtering; I have enough troubles with that site as it is.

The dash panel has about 25 bulbs, some of which aren’t used on all versions.
They’re 1.2 W bulbs with black sockets; Narva part Nº 47744 from Repco; about $A1.30 each.

Just handling brittle old bulbs can break the filaments.
The ones that aren’t used will still be good.

Thanks for the detailed photo. By appearance, they are possibly the same bulbs as on a Volvo 240 (I changed a bunch the other week).

Over my end I used the filtering feature this last friday no problem.
But I have a registered access.
I'm now on my 3.rd (or 4.th ?) access, as I have been flushed out from the server a couple of times not having a registered account.

Filtering is tapping in the cars VIN no, then performing the parts search.
You will then only get the relevant parts information for exactly that car.
Also you get access to that specific cars exact detailed configuration by the time it left the production line.
Quite useful if the owner is unsure on the exact model and year spec on the car.

Filtering can also be done using only the last 8digits of the cars VIN no, if you already have selected the model.

The ones he means, are an integrated unit.

Thanks Anders, that's very helpful, and I’ll experiment soon.
Until now, I used to copy the VIN number into the space provided at the top left.
One search shows the equipment list of the car, and it’s got some mistakes in it.

The Xantia had to go; I couldn’t make time anymore for all those LHM return leaks caused by hardened and brittle hoses.
I’ve now got a C5 VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] … quite a barge compared to the Xantia, but it’s absolutely fabulous at high speeds.

Yes, the bulb is soldered into the holder, making one piece.
None of the dimensions are critical, and the 47744 bulb has twist-lock contacts on both sides.

After some experimenting, the "Technique Anders" worked fine - select the model, then enter last eight digits.

It's not something I would have thought to try - thanks for the hint.

It even works without entering the model, possibly only where there are 8 numbers.
You enter the 8 numbers, and it tells you the model.
Here are my numbers: 76372389 … and it will tell you it’s a C5.
