Got a few probs with this clio ive just brought....
Im a totaly beginner to the clio but aint afriad of getting my hands in, if anyone can give me a step by step guide of what to do then it'll be a great HELP!
1. when im driving and going down a hill and slow down to come to a halt the car will stall, then ill start it again and it'll be fine. This only happens when going down hill, its fine on hills and flats. The car does seem to idle a bit lumpy and not smoothly.
2. The heaters dont blow any warm air, they blow fine just not warm air.
Please help me anyone!

1991 RN CLIO 1.2 is powered by 1171 SPFI engine,in good condition,this unit should tickover very smooth,it should start instant hot or cold and should pull away smooth ,with no hesitation
USES 1 injector in throttle body + CLOSED LOOP lambda system in exaust
Your problem has little to do with going downhill---MORE like a major service,not to hard on these cars FILTER,PLUGS,FUEL FILTER ,the ECU will be ok,it can only run engine according to sensor inputs...
CRANK ANGLE SENSOR is ok or engine wouldnt start,COOLANT sensor is major sensor here,starting probs ,failed LAMBDA will cause probs stalling, THROTTLE BODY-gummed injector ,faulty contacts,at idle motor ,check every plug for corrosion ,fuel pressure,[ 1 BAR ],
CHECK ALL vacuum hoses, clean all breather pipes,check compressions
THESE cars use RENIX SINGLE POINT SYSTEM ,which are essentially quite simple .A systematic check would resolve your problem, hard to tell from here..THERE,is also a 1108 CARB engine ,night and day,but
yours should be 1171 F1-----
