My Activa

I've never taken any pictures of my Activa so thought I'd do it today whilst I was out with the camera.

It was in the workshop and it was dusk so had to do it with the lights on hence the orangeness.

It's a Series 2 on a 1998 R plate
50k miles
2 previous owners

It's kept in the shed and only goes out for a blast occasionally.

Will try and get some pictures of the V6 next time it's been cleaned.

lovely condition, I'm amazed you are able to resist driving it but good on you for doing so there should be a few of these preserved atleast

It has a lovely home to live in David

I've been running mine lately as the weather is now a bit kinder.

Ran it to work today and the first comment was "What's up with your V6 then Jim?"

I believe it is mauritious (typo??) blue, it basically looks like mine but with half the miles

Definately a lovely car though, along with the v6 xantias, xm's and c6..

My apologies for being a spelling pedant here but it's Mauritius Blue, named after a an island off the east coast of Africa not that far from the Seychelles.

One presumes the colour was named after the colour of the sea off Mauritius.

It's a lovely colour, named after a lovely place full of lovely people.

The colour code for Mauritius Blue is KPKCR

After the problems I'm having with the Xantia HDi at the moment I very nearly put this back on the road full time last week but the girl friend made me see sense when she said she couldn't afford to run it daily!

Part of me feels sad knowing it's in the shed day in day out doing nothing, but part of me feels like good condition low mileage ones of these are worth keeping in original condition.
