Xantia Hdi 2000. year 2000 Window Problem

I am having a problem with the passenger side window on the above car. The window will lower, when operated by either the drivers or passenger door switch. Howeber the window will not rise (intermittingly). I have checked the switches and they are O.K. I have also checked the wiring where it exits from the door passenger side, and have not found any pinching or damage. Drivere window works fine, which I take it means the problem centres on the passenger side. (Rear window switches on their respective doors do not work, but the windows operate perfectly from the switches on the centre console I don't think that this is a related problem, and is not an issue with me for the moment) Any advice appreciated

Have you actually changed you passenger window switches because a fault on one can affect the other as well.

Yes I have a spare working switch & have tried it.

Is it a HDi Exclusive, with ONE TOuch ALL round??

Sometimes, after a battery disconnection, you have to reset the Anti pinch on the windows and they come up a bit at a time... till closed, then work the next time...

No it is just the normal 2.0 Hdi, nothing as elaborate as the Exclusive.
