Hmm im sure i read somewhere that was a fake. Although take as much weight from the back as possible and filling the front with lead might do it

YES THAT one is awesome!

Are the Vauxhall Opel boys watching!

No DEI, the CX REALLY is that fast, the GTi S2 Turbo 2 was never officaiall stated by Citroen, but the S1 Turbo was 168bhp WITHOUT an intercooler, Ive been told that S2 with an intercoooler was 200bhp, and is VERY tune able to massive powers...

An Alfa 166! wow, very nice cars, didnt know you had one of those 8)

Always liked Omegas actually, the facelift versions with the nicer bumpers are very nice looking cars.

The Omega 2.5tds or the 3.0i or 3.2i V6 are the only vauxhalls i would buy, partly because they are RWD, 6 cylinders, they are quite plush, and the V6's can be had in manual form. Otherwise I wouldn't go near a vauxhall with a bargepole...

thanks

I've had two Omegas and to be honest they put me right of of Vauxhall's for good. I just got a couple of dodgy ones so I think if I were to buy another I would pay the extra for a well cared for example, there are far far too many sheds out there. The V6 is not very sprightly due to the weight of the car. Dare I say the autoboxes really blunt performance too. I agree the facelifts look much much better. I also wouldn't say it's plush but then I am comparing it to my Alfa

Yep, very nice indeed. Stacked with equipment, very quick even in 2.5 guise (I am on the look out for a 3.0 manual with 6 speed box) and just stunningly beautiful to look at and hear. Jim has seen and heard it and I think he quite likes it :P Exclusive too with only 3,000 ever being registered in the UK.

Typical Alfa in that its a proper drivers car. Took it for a spin today and ended up doing 186 miles! Mainly on back roads. Enjoyed every single one of them though.

Anyway, enough of my Italian flirtation or I suspect I shall be lynched by angry French owners.
